Senior Accountant - International Law Firm

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant / Senior Accountant to join a top-tier international law firm, focusing on AP and month-end closing.

Client Details

Our client is a highly respected international law firm with a strong presence in Hong Kong. Known for their excellence in legal services and a collaborative work culture, they are now seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join their finance team. This role focuses on Accounts Payable (AP) and month-end closing processes.

Description

• Handle daily accounting operation duties, such as accounts payable (AP)
• Prepare invoice processing, vendor payments, staff reimbursements, and expense claims
• Monitor cash flow management and handle banking inquiries
• Assist in month-end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and firm policies

Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• At least 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a professional services or law firm environment
• Proficient in MS Excel; experience with accounting systems (e.g., Aderant, Chrome River/ Emburse Enterprise, Elite 3E) is a plus
• Fluent in English and Cantonese
• Candidate with less experience can be considered as an Accountant
