Security Consultant (F5 Load Balancer & Check Point)

Brief statement of duties: 

  • Experience in project installation, configuration, operation, and ongoing support of various web application delivery and load balancing solutions.

  • Design, plan, and manage the implementation of different network and technology project solutions.

  • Organize project schedules and resources among customers, engineers, vendors, and third parties.

  • Ability to collaborate with customer security and network teams to build trust in service delivery.

  • Capable of managing multiple projects and working calmly under pressure.

  • Mentor engineers in service delivery to enhance their handling and technical skills.

  • Serve as an escalation point and assist junior engineers with projects and support cases.

Job specification: 

  • Over 5 years of relevant working experience on Application Delivery products, including F5 Load Balancer, Check Point, DNS, GTM, ASM, WAF, Cloud, and Remote Access SSL VPN, or similar industry solution deployment is a plus.

  • Cybersecurity certification in F5 Networks is an advantage.

  • Security-relevant certificates such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, or CEH, etc., are advantageous.

  • Experience with public/private cloud vendors and automation toolsets.

  • Basic knowledge of ICT, Network Security, and Networking are required.

  • Good problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills in both written and verbal English and Cantonese.

  • Candidates with less experience will be considered for the Security Engineer position.
