Applicants are invited for interview for the appointment as Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Care, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 532661) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Bachelors degree or above in Health Sciences, Public Health, Biomedical Sciences or a related discipline. They should have a strong command of written and spoken English and Cantonese, Chinese, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to multitask, work independently and collaborate within a team.

Duties and Responsibilities

Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project management or coordination within healthcare settings. Fresh graduates with a strong interest in health research are welcome to apply. Applicants with higher qualifications and/or substantial experience may be considered for appointment as Research Assistant I.

The appointee will be involved in the coordination of research projects evaluating health services delivery. Key responsibilities include:

• Coordinate and manage research activities related to health services evaluation
• Liaise with stakeholders, including healthcare providers and research collaborators
• Oversee project progress
• Assist in participant recruitment and data collection
• Prepare research reports,
• Perform other duties as assigned
