Programme Officer

We are looking for a Senior Programme Officer / Programme Officer to join our clients project in a 6 months programme.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the organisation of the International Arts Carnival 2025 and Asia- Festival 2025

  • Assist in the marketing and publicity of the festival programmes by gathering and preparing materials for publicity, sourcing new publicity channels, assisting digital marketing, website production. design and editorial services etc.

  • Assist in logistics arrangements for the festival programmes including drafting of artist agreements, booking of venues and liaison with artists, etc.

  • Coordinate with artists/ arts groups and venues on technical requirements with the assistance of the freelance Technical Coordinator such as stage setup, technical schedule and manpower arrangement

  • Handle the coordination with outside parties independently during the festivals

  • Take up operational duties during performances, workshops, cultural tours, outdoor activities, opening ceremonies and press conferences

  • Make hospitality arrangements including air tickets, hotel accommodation, reception and transportation for artists and other guests during the festivals

  • Supervise part-time and temporary staff for the festivals and report to the Senior Manager and Managers of the Festivals Office

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Managers / Senior officer

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree (or above) Ne preferably in Cultural Studies Arts Administration / Event Management / Tourism Management

  • Have met the language proficiency requirements of Level 4 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (HKDSEE), or equivalent

  • At Least 5 years of full-time working experience in Art Administration and/or Event Management. Experience in organising international or local cultural events/ activities/ programmes is an advantage

  • Solid experience in using Illustrator, Photoshop or similar software

  • Fluent in spoken Cantonese and English, mandarin is definitely an advantage

  • Mature, independent, and self-motivated with interpersonal and leadership skills

  • With a good computer literacy, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese typing

  • Able to work on weekdays and holidays for events and programmes

  • Immediate available is an advantage
