Manager - Registration Services

The applicant must possess

1. a recognised degree in construction related disciplines;

2. a minimum of 10 years post-qualification relevant work experience in construction industry and / or public administration; qualified construction industry professionals will definitely be an advantage;

3. proven track record of leading a team to achieve goals;

4. proactive and with a high level of integrity and a good sense of responsibility;

5. excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; and

6. proficiency in Microsoft application software (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, MS Teams etc.); Chinese word processing is a must.

(Applicants who do not possess the required qualifications and / or experience may be considered for other positions within the organisation.)

Duties include

1. to manage registration schemes, namely Registered Specialist Trade Contractors Registration Scheme, Workers Registration and Technically Competent Persons Registration Scheme in full compliance with policies and procedures;

2. to administer board and committee meetings and prepare bilingual agenda, papers and minutes;

3. to drive the team to achieve departmental goals and provide timely feedbacks to subordinates for their growth the development;

4. to provide timely support and excellent services to applicants and industry stakeholders;

5. to lead the enhancement and maintenance works in relation to registration related IT application systems and mobile app;

6. to undertake new initiatives and ad hoc projects as well as publicity activities and events;

7. to liaise closely with the industry and bring in new ideas and initiatives; and

8. to carry out any other duties as assigned from time to time by the Executive Director.
