About this role

Position Summary

The Manager is responsible for the strategy and execution of Galaxy Resort promotion and Campaign activities. This position will support AVP of Media Relations to keep good relationship with media/KOL in local market and mainland China, HK/Asia Pacific area specially focus of GBA area. Good knowledge of media/KOL trends.

He/She will also oversee Hotel / FandB activities and conduct the media fam, KOL visit and other media channels activities like TV shooting etc. To closely work together with other departments to assess and support their internal and external communications needs.

Primary Responsibility

Media Relations Role:

• To identify Media partnerships opportunities to accelerate business plans in order to bring benefits to GEG
• Promote GEG through Media partnerships with China Mainstream Media
• Enrich GEG brand awareness in China target cities
• Strengthen relationships with Influence Media and KOLs and MGTO, maintain positive word of mouth in market
• Responsible for MGTO and Resort programs
• Responsible for GEG big campaigns media part arrangement and execution.
• Growth and update of Local/HK/China media database
• Responsible to manage and support operation for award pitching ( Hotels, FandB, Spa)
• Press Release, Speech, shooting scripte write up skills

New Project Launch Role:

• Responsible of new project launch media support including media pick up, media fam, KOL visit, press release, opening event
• Apply best practise to manage and executive media visite and seek for media partnerships.

PandL and KPI Plan:

• Support AVP to update and review monthly forecase, yearly budget, and key process towards to achievement departmental KPI.

Requirements

• This position requires general knowledge of China and GBA media/KOL market practices acquired through formal education or 3+ years of on the job experience as a manager
• Bachelors degree in marketing or business management preferred

• Good writing skill of Chinese press release

• Good relationship with media, and good resouce of KOLs
