Data Scientist

Our client is looking for a Data Scientist to join their team.

Responsibilities

• • Deliver actionable analytics and insights to drive business transformation across operations, service delivery, customer management, and sales.

  • Combine mathematical rigor with innovative algorithms to extract business value from data.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement data science solutions that meet evolving business needs.

  • Lead use cases to ensure business objectives are met and value is delivered.

  • Design, develop, and deploy models from MVP to production, ensuring continuous support and adaptation to changing business needs.

  • Provide expert analytics, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to solve business problems and optimize outcomes.

  • Partner with business teams to translate business challenges into quantitative solutions and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Monitor model performance in production and initiate improvements to ensure sustained business value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Model Development and Deployment:

  Design, develop, and deploy models from MVP to production, ensuring continuous support and adaptation to changing business needs.

• Advanced Analytics and Machine Learning:

  Provide expert analytics, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to solve business problems and optimize outcomes.

• Stakeholder Collaboration:

  Partner with business teams to translate business challenges into quantitative solutions and communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

• Performance Monitoring and Improvement:

  Monitor model performance in production and initiate improvements to ensure sustained business value.

Requirements 

• • Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related fields.

  • At least 3 years of experience deploying models to production and maintaining them to meet changing business needs.

  • Strong skills in Python, R, Spark, and big data tools.

  • Experience with AWS and data visualization tools (e.g., Alteryx, PowerBI) is a plus.

  • Good command of Cantonese and English
