(Assistant) Settlement Manager (Secondment Contract)
A renowned China-based Bank in Hong Kong is looking for a high-caliber (Assistant) Settlement Manager for the Settlement Department.
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day settlement and operational support in the following areas: FX / MM, Repo, NDF, OTC Option, ARR IRS, ARR Bonds, US stocks, etc.;
Liaise with counter-parties and Front Office if there is trade booking discrepancy, confirmation mismatched, and settlement issues relating to Treasury transactions;
Perform Collateral Management tasks, collaterals transfer, calculation of collateral interests, and arrangement settlement with CSA counter-parties (Variation Margin & Initial Margin);
Participate in system enhancement project, manage and resolve problems during different stages from project initiation to its implementation;
Produce documentation on operating procedures and operating guidelines;
Optimize workflow of the supervised business routine, so as to enhance operating efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree or above in Business Administration or related disciplines;
At least 2 years of working experience in the settlement department;
Solid experience of the operations and settlement of FX/MM, Repo, OTC Option, ARR IRS, ARR Bonds, US stocks, etc.;
Familiar with settlement systems such as SWIFT, eMBT/eCMT, CMU and Euclid;
Strong commitment, drive, willing to learn, and able to meet tight deadlines;
Proficiency in both written and spoken English, Chinese and Putonghua.
Candidate with more experience will be considered as Settlement Manager.
