Assistant Manager, Manufacturing Applications
Job Summary:
As Maxims Assistant Manager, youll be pivotal in shaping manufacturing systems and driving operational excellence, using your D365 F&O expertise, business analysis, and application management skills as our manufacturing SME to translate requirements into solutions via configuration and project management, enhancing production efficiency and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
A. D365 F&O Functional Expertise & Business Analysis
- This role involved leading requirements gathering workshops with key stakeholders (manufacturing, supply chain, finance) to translate business needs into D365 F&O functional specifications and develop system/process documentation.
- Subsequently, this position planned and led User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users to ensure developed solutions met agreed-upon requirements and quality standards before deployment.
B. Application Management & Support
- Manage the day-to-day operations of D365 F&O and related applications, ensuring their stability, performance, and data integrity.
- Partner with technical teams, including developers and infrastructure, for system customizations, integrations, and maintenance.
C. Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement
- You will spearhead the lifecycle management of D365 F&O projects, enhancements, and initiatives within our manufacturing applications, from defining scope and proactively mitigating risks to tracking progress and ensuring clear stakeholder communication.
- Additionally, this role involves managing relationships and coordinating activities with external vendors for project delivery and specialized support services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on D365 F&O functional experience (focus: Manufacturing & Supply Chain), including proven success as a BA/Functional Consultant in implementations. Experience in F&B/similar manufacturing industries and PM/supervisory roles (IT/ERP) is highly advantageous.
- Possesses a strong understanding of D365 F&O system architecture, security framework, workflow design, and experience in its integration with multiple systems.
- Proficient with native reporting and business intelligence tools within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem, including Azure Fabric and Microsoft Power BI for data visualization and analytics.
- This proactive, results-oriented individual leverages exceptional analytical, problem-solving, critical-thinking, and business process re-engineering skills with meticulous attention to detail, excelling both independently and collaboratively through a commitment to continuous learning.
- Fluent in both Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) and English, they effectively articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences and demonstrate strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
