Assistant Arborist / Quality Control Assistant (5-days work, Secondment)

Requirements 1:

• Obtain a Degree in arboriculture or related discipline of arboriculture with 3 years full time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong; or

• Satisfactorily completed a recognized Diploma programme in horticulture or related field of arboriculture equivalent to the standards of Level 3 or above in HKQF with 4 years full time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong; or

• Obtained a qualification or certification from a professional institute with standards equivalent to those of the Certified Arborist from the International Society of Arboriculture or above with 5 years full time working experience in arboriculture gained in Hong Kong

Requirements 2:

• Comprehensive TRA and Management Training Course with assessment or Refresher Course with assessment organised by TMO; or

• Equivalent departmental training for TRA recognised by the TMO; or

• Completed and passed TRA training programmes recognised by the TMO such as TRAQ organised by the ISA, Professional Tree Inspection by Lantra Awards

Job Duties

• Assist to review Form 1 / Form 2 submitted by other contractor

• Handle tree and vegetation maintenance issues at Government Department

• 08:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday, Bank Holiday
