Assistant Accounting Manager
We are currently looking for a high caliber candidate to join our Accounting Team as “Assistant Accounting Manager"
Job Summary:
- Accountable for an accurate and timely booking of transactions and on time month-end reporting
- Maintain a proper accounting system according to local and corporate accounting standard
- Ensure the improvement of accounting processes
- Adherence to Accounting Standards and group guidelines
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform and review all transactions, purchase requisition & payments functions (including staff expenses claims) to ensure that they are complete and accurate
- Review all journal entries prepared by accountant
- Prepare weekly cashflow forecast
- Maintain Fixed Assets Register
- Prepare month-end closing & year end closing on a timely basis
- Handle inter-company reconciliations and reporting
- Review Balance Sheet Accounts Reconciliations
- Assist to monitor and ensure adherence to Internal Controls and Procedures
- Prepare audit schedules for year-end audit and check draft audited report
- Assist in statutory accounts audit to ensure to meet deadline
- Work with warehouse team for the quarterly/yearly stock take
- Ensure accounting records comply with internal policy and statutory requirements
- Prepare Groups yearly Notes Pack
- Other ad-hoc projects as required
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related discipline
- Minimum 6-8 years of accounting experience preferably from MNC or sizable organizations
- Experience in SAP is preferred
- Knowledge of Hyperion software and experience in Manufacturing industry are advantages
- Computer literate (MS Word, Outlook and Strong MS-Excel skill)
- Proactive, detail oriented, analytical and good interpersonal skill
- Strong communication skill and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Able to work independently
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Senior Accountant.
