Accounting Officer

Division: Finance Division /(Financial Risk Management)

• Assist in reviewing cost models from the Bid Centre and provide financial commentary

• Assist in checking the cash flow of ICT projects and managing relevant payments to suppliers

• Assist in preparing accounting entries for revenue, month-end closing, and reporting

• Assist in preparing balance sheets and P&L schedules, perform reconciliations, and follow up on any unusual items

• Assist in improving accounting processes and leverage technology to create efficiencies

• Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as required

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a business-related discipline

• At least 1 year of relevant work experience, with good knowledge of international accounting standards and practices (preferred)

• Experience in the telecom industry and revenue accounting is an advantage

• Proactive, independent, and persistent, with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Macro, and MS Access (preferred)

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and efficiency while adhering to deadlines

• Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Mandarin preferred)
