Account Management & Logistics Coordination AM (Japanese Speaking)

This role combines customer engagement, shipment planning, and internal process improvement — ideal for someone experienced in international logistics and fluent in Japanese.

Job Duty:

• Act as main contact for Japanese clients - handle enquiries, provide quotations, and advise on import/export requirements

• Liaise with shipping lines, clients, and internal teams to manage booking schedules and shipment arrangements

• Handle troubleshooting such as cargo delays, damage issues, and document-related matters

• Lead improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance workflow efficiency in the Hong Kong office

• Provide interpretation and translation (Japanese ↔ English) when needed

• Prepare monthly quotations and cost reports

• Arrange and lead regular meetings with other branches (e.g. Japan or regional offices)

• 5+ years of relevant experience in freight forwarding, trading, or in-house logistics team within a manufacturer

• Native Japanese speaker or fluent in Japanese (business level or above)

• Strong understanding of international shipping, import/export procedures, and logistics terms

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

• Proactive mindset with experience handling Japanese clients

• Familiar with ocean/air shipment processes and documentation
