We are assisting a prestigious Japanese corporate bank in their search for a Treasury Operations Manager. This key role involves leading and supervising a team responsible for comprehensive treasury operations, including money market transactions, foreign exchange (FX), securities, bonds, and FRCD issuance. The successful candidate will ensure that all transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with the banks policies and guidelines.

Overview:

We are assisting a prestigious Japanese corporate bank in their search for a Treasury Operations Manager. This key role involves leading and supervising a team responsible for comprehensive treasury operations, including money market transactions, foreign exchange (FX), securities, bonds, and FRCD issuance. The successful candidate will ensure that all transactions are executed efficiently and in compliance with the banks policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team to deliver treasury operations effectively, overseeing all aspects of money market, FX, securities, bonds, and FRCD issuance.
• Ensure all transactions are executed in accordance with the banks policies and guidelines.
• Monitor settlement risks and address any irregular transactions promptly.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in treasury operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in treasury operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Comprehensive knowledge of treasury products, market practices, and securities clearing systems related to treasury market product settlements.
• Essential experience in project management, particularly in the launch of ISO20022 SWIFT MX messages.
• Familiarity with banking operations, global settlement practices, and OTC Derivatives Transaction Reporting (HKTR Report).
• A team player with strong leadership, coaching, management, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in both English and Chinese.
• Good PC skills in MS Office; knowledge of VBA, MS Excel Macro, and Alteryx is a plus.
