Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create and edit 3D models, textures, and materials in Blender.

• Produce animations, renderings, or visualizations based on project requirements.

• Generate 2D assets or technical drawings from 3D models as needed.

• Utilize Blender for BIM applications and troubleshoot modelling or rendering issues when applying Blender in BIM and produce reports and user manuals.

• Learn and apply OpenBIM principles and IFC standards.

• Stay updated on Blender features and industry trends.

• Perform other duties as management assigns based on the project and business needs.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Blender for 3D modelling, texturing, and rendering.

• 1 year+ of experience in 3D modelling with Blender (preferred).

• Knowledge in Parametric modelling or scripting in Blender is an added advantage.

• Technical writing skills for user guide documentation.

• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)

• Degree/ Higher diploma holder or above in architecture, structure, engineering, building services or a related discipline is an added advantage.

•        Basic familiarity with AEC workflows (architecture, engineering, construction) or BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Tekla is an added advantage.

• Self-motivated, independent, good communication and interpersonal skills

• Candidates with lesser experience will be considered as Assistant 3D Designer
