Responsibilities: To assist in drawing up the sales & marketing plan annually with the Hotel Manager. To keep a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them. Organize regular visits in accordance with a predetermined plan. Prepare a tentative monthly schedule to record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month. Present a summary of guest visits to the Hotel Manager on a weekly basis i.e. Weekly Sales Plan. Communicate and build up a good linkage between both guest and internal operating departments to ensure guests satisfaction. Closely observe matters pertaining to competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis - quarterly or more often if need be).
