What We DoCantoGather is a faith-affiliated, Christian-rooted organisation dedicated to loving our neighbours as ourselves. We empower 香港’s multicultural community by bringing people together through language and intercultural education. In partnership with schools, we offer non-Chinese children professional, engaging Cantonese and Chinese language programmes to help them thrive in school and daily life. Beyond language learning, we foster genuine connections between Chinese volunteers and non-Chinese families, building bridges of understanding and friendship. Through creative workshops, storytelling, arts, and interactive activities, we provide welcoming spaces where children and families from all backgrounds can share, learn, and grow together. Our volunteers serve as tutors, mentors, and companions, supporting students individually or in small groups while nurturing confidence, cultural awareness, and a sense of belonging. With over 300,000 non-Chinese neighbours in 香港—many of them young people—the need for support, inclusion, and opportunity is clear. By volunteering with us, you help break down barriers, encourage meaningful relationships, and make a lasting positive impact on our city’s future.
