Senior Business Development Manager - Malaysia Market

Key Responsibilities

-Develop and execute the business expansion strategy for the Malaysia market, ensuring alignment with overall company objectives.

-Identify, approach, and establish long-term strategic partnerships with new clients and channels, including government agencies, industry associations, and multinational companies, to achieve annual revenue targets.

-Lead commercial negotiations, design partnership models, and drive project implementation.

-Work cross-functionally with product, marketing, legal, and compliance teams to optimize product localization and regulatory processes.

-Build and lead the Malaysia business team, establish performance metrics, and nurture core talent.

-Monitor and manage operational risks; utilize data analytics tools to assess sales and market performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to headquarters.

-Analyze market trends and competitor activities to proactively identify business opportunities.

-Collaborate with the marketing team to develop product portfolios and promotional plans, including digital marketing initiatives (Facebook, Xiaohongshu, Google Ads, etc.) to achieve sales and marketing goals.

-Handle other ad-hoc projects as assigned. Who We Are Looking For Tertiary education or above, preferably in Business, Marketing, or related fields.

-Minimum 3 years experience in sales, business development, or key account management, preferably with exposure to international or Malaysia markets. Strong ability to work independently, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.

-Result-oriented with sharp business acumen and strong analytical skills.

-Fluent in both written and spoken English, Chinese, and Malay.

-Highly proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Proven team management and performance evaluation experience is a strong plus.

-Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Senior Key Account Executive position.
