Market Access Manager

DCH Auriga (Hong Kong) Limited (former company name LF Asia), a member of Dah Chong Hong Holdings, is an Asian-based integrated market management provider specializing in healthcare. We partner with the worlds leading healthcare companies to distribute pharmaceuticals, medical devices, surgical equipment, OTC products for more than 500 brands into hospitals, pharmacies and specialty stores across Asia.

The primary objective of Market Access Manager is to oversee and optimize market access and launch strategies for the organizations pharmaceutical products. This encompasses ensuring favorable pricing, reimbursement, and successful commercialization by integrating A&P budget oversight with collaborative, cross-functional initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory & Market Access Strategy

    • Develop and execute strategies for drug formulary listings in the public sector for new products and new indications of existing products.

    • Coordinate with sales and market access teams to secure formulary listings in public hospitals and ensure successful implementation.

  2. Stakeholder Engagement

    • Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to achieve formulary inclusion and procurement contracts.

    • Facilitate communication with relevant parties during market access negotiations, including HA stakeholders and partner pharmaceutical companies.

  3. Cross-functional Leadership

    • Collaborate with Regulatory, Sales, and Marketing teams to align market access plans with commercial objectives.

    • Educate internal teams on market access requirements, value propositions, and promotional messages of products.

  4. Data & Analytics

    • Monitor healthcare policy changes and competitors activities to adapt access strategies.

    • Track and report on market access KPIs (e.g., approval timelines, formulary coverage rates).

  5. New Product Launches

    • Devise a comprehensive launch plan, including monitoring A&P budget for new product launches.

    • Set up a tracker for new product launch progress against market access KPIs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or related fields

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Market Access or Sales and Marketing within the pharmaceutical industry

  • In-depth understanding of the commercial principles underpinning the pharmaceutical market

  • Excellent communication, analytical, and negotiation skills

  • Proficient in spoken and written in Chinese (including Mandarin) and English

  • Less experienced candidates may be considered for the position of Associate Market Access Manager.
