Senior Network Engineer

(1) Senior Network Engineer:

Responsibilities:

• To design and set up a large-scale Government multi-DC network and firewall infrastructure, including equipment setup, structured cabling, configuration, and integration, and all the acceptance tests
• To manage vendors and manage the tasks
• To lead a team of junior engineers in completing the work
• To operate and support the network infrastructure after project rollout

Requirements:

• Degree or above in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 9 years of IT experience including at least 5 years of IT experience in the implementation of network infrastructure; and
• Certification of Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching, or Juniper Networks Certified Professional Enterprise Routing and Switching (JNCIP-ENT) or equivalent certification issued by other network equipment manufacturer.
• Solid understanding of network protocols/standards including BGP, OSPF, M-LAG, NAT, IPSEC/SSL VPN, etc.
• Good knowledge on network devices, including routers, switches, firewall, load balancers
• Hands-on experience over major vendors such as Huawei, Fortinet, Check Point, F5, etc.
• Can show to have the ability to build up the networking from scratch, and to resolve problems independently.
• Good communication skills in Cantonese and English
