Description

The Senior Manager will be a key member of the Public Affairs team, responsible for:

• Developing and executing stakeholder engagement and communications strategies.
• Organizing media relations activities, including press conferences, interviews, and roundtables with key influencers.
• Supporting senior management in thought leadership and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
• Managing brand reputation by identifying potential issues and leading crisis communication efforts.
• Advising faculties and departments on media relations and public affairs.
• Monitoring developments in higher education and public policy to inform leadership.
• Building strong relationships with media in Hong Kong, mainland China, and internationally.

Profile

• A recognized degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in public affairs, communications, or media relations.
• Proven expertise in stakeholder engagement, issue management, and public relations.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese; fluency in Putonghua is an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
• A track record of developing and delivering high-impact communications strategies.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment.
