We are looking for high-calibre individuals who want to be part of the Claim Due Diligence Team for the SME loan portfolios administered by HKMC Insurance Limited (HKMCI), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Hong Kong Mortgage Corporation Limited.

• Conduct due diligence review on claim requests arising from defaulted commercial or SME lending portfolios under various loan guarantee schemes;

• Monitor the quality of special assets management and debt recovery actions, including pursuing legal remedies against defaulted borrowers and personal guarantors;

• Work independently in coordinating and facilitating debt workouts, and assessing debt workout or repayment proposals for completion in a timely and efficient manner;

• Provide supervisory support for team operations, formulate, review and fine-tune work procedures and guidelines and augment team capabilities and improve the quality, efficiency, and precision of team operations by leveraging technologies from time to time;

• Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders, and provide support for the administration of various loan guarantee schemes; and

• Undertake ad hoc assignments and projects assigned from time to time.

• Bachelor degree or above with major in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration or related disciplines;

• A minimum of 10 years relevant working experiences in debt collections for commercial or SME lending or corporate restructuring/ insolvency at any international accounting firm;

• Strong analytical and leadership skills, self-motivated, positive work attitude, detailed-minded, organised, good at teamwork and excellent communication and presentation skills;

• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; and

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including proficiency in Excel with capabilities to navigate the software, apply advanced formulas, perform data analysis, pivot table creation and manipulation, and conditional formatting, is a must.
