Scope of the Job
  • Fund & Manager Selection: Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on public equity funds and fund managers, identifying top‑tier investment opportunities through meticulous due diligence.
  • Deconstructing Manager Alpha: Go beyond backward‑looking performance data to evaluate the repeatability of a manager’s process, differentiating between structural edge (behavioral, analytical, or informational) and exposure to market factors.
  • An Endowment Mindset: Focus on global diversification and access to institutional‑class managers, ensuring every selection aligns with our fiduciary mission.
  • Synthesis and Strategic Communication: Translate complex findings into a coherent investment thesis and articulate the rationale behind strategies with clarity and conviction.
  • Intellectual Autonomy and Rigor: Explore overlooked corners of the market – niche thematic strategies, systematic, factor‑based approaches – and defend 職位s to the Investment Committee with data‑driven discipline.
  • Direct Impact: Research directly informs client al地點s, providing tangible influence on the investment landscape in Asia.
What We Are Looking For
  • Institutional Research Background: 3–5 years of investment experience, ideally on a multi‑manager platform, endowment, sovereign wealth fund, or buy‑side firm, with preference for experience in manager selection and due diligence.
  • Data and Analytical Rigor: Proven ability to leverage data, ensuring recommendations are backed by a robust, data‑driven framework.
  • Broad Intellectual Horizon: Interest in non‑financial fields and application of cross‑disciplinary mental models to capital al地點.
  • Fiduciary Alignment: Deep belief in a client‑第一頁 mission, stewardship, and passion for delivering institutional‑quality solutions to individual investors.
Nice‑to‑Haves
