Participate in the day‑to‑day activities of the markets division, providing insights and expertise that help senior colleagues make informed decisions, develop new products and services, and identify new market opportunities.
Accountabilities• Execute small research projects and research to support strategic decision‑making.
• Prepare presentations and reports to communicate research findings.
• Collaborate with senior management to implement research findings for the global markets division.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support business initiatives.
• Participate in training and development programmes to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Identify opportunities, develop business cases, and manage the deployment and launch of new products and services for the global markets division.
• Manage client relationships and provide customer service support to clients and customers, responding to questions about products and services and processing transactions.
• Manage the development and implementation of financial models and strategies that support decision‑making in the global markets division.
• Train and mentor junior colleagues.
Analyst ExpectationsPerform prescribed activities in a timely manner and to a high standard, consistently driving continuous improvement.
Require in‑depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise, along with a thorough understanding of the underlying principles and concepts.
Lead and supervise a team, guiding and supporting professional development, allocating work requirements and coordinating team resources.
Demonstrate the four LEAD behaviours (Listen, Energise, Align, Develop) for those with leadership responsibilities.
Develop technical expertise and act as an advisor where appropriate for individual contributors.
Take responsibility for end results of a team’s operational processing and activities, escalating breaches of policy and procedure appropriately.
Embed new policies and procedures arising from risk mitigation, advise and influence decision‑making within own area of expertise, and manage risk and strengthen controls.
Deliver work in line with relevant rules, regulations and codes of conduct, continually building an understanding of how the sub‑function integrates with the organisation.
Make evaluative judgements based on factual information, resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions, guide and persuade team members, and communicate complex or sensitive information.
Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function and build a network of contacts outside the team and the organisation.
Summer Internship Programme OverviewDiscover the world of finance and technology through a 10‑week summer internship. Engage in real projects, receive mentorship, and build connections across one of the following areas: Credit, Equities, Equity financing, Foreign exchange, Rates, Structuring.
Eligibility & Qualifications• Pursuing an undergraduate degree, expected completion between December2027 and June2028.• GPA of 3.2 or above and a keen interest in business and finance.• Demonstrated resourcefulness, teamwork, enthusiasm and an entrepreneurial spirit through extracurricular activities.
