Research Assistant ProfessorThe Department of Digital Arts and Creative Industries (DACI) is an interdisciplinary and innovative learning hub that encompasses a wide range of areas, including film and television, animation, museums and curating, art history, as well as digital arts and immersive media. We offer broad theoretical study and practical training for students seeking careers in 香港 and the Greater Bay Area's burgeoning creative and cultural industries. DACI currently offers three Undergraduate programmes, BA (Hons) Aminations and Digital Arts, BA (Hons) in Creative Media Industries and BA (Hons) in Visual Studies, and two taught master programmes, MA in Creative and Media Industries (MACMI) and MA in Curating and Art History (MACAH). DACI is inviting applications for a fixed-term 職位 of Research Assistant Professor to contribute to teaching and service to the MA in Creative and Media Industries (MACMI) programme. The appointee is expected to: i) teach relevant MA-level courses; ii) supervise MA-level capstone projects; and iii) contribute to service and development of the Department.
RequirementsApplicants for the 職位 should have:
Candidates should have obtained / been conferred a PhD degree or an equivalent qualification for no more than five years prior to the commencement of the appointment. The appointees are expected to 提交申請s for RGC grants, other local/overseas competitive grants and/or fellowship schemes.
Salary and BenefitsThe conditions of appointment will be competitive. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for the eligible appointee.
Appointment will normally be made on an initial contract of up to three years, which, subject to review and mutual agreement, may lead to longer-term appointment with possibility of consideration for substantiation.
