QA Engineer

Job Summary

As a key member of the QA Team, the Automation Tester will be key in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and functionality of mobile and web based platforms. You will work closely with the international development team to identify and report any bugs or issues, and provide solutions to improve the overall quality of the customer facing products.

The Responsibilities:

• Design and develop auto test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze results to identify any defects or issues
• Collaborate with the development team to understand requirements and provide feedback on potential areas of improvement
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data
• Participate in code reviews to ensure testability and quality of code
• Continuously improve and maintain the automation test suite to keep up with new features and changes
• Report and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and troubleshoot issues

Your Skills and Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 3 years experience in QA automation testing and writing auto scripts
• Strong knowledge of automation testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium and Appium
• Experience with API testing and tools such as Postman or SoapUI
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, specifically SCRUM
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Fluency in English
