Rank:  ProgrammerDepartment / Cluster:  Information Technology Department, Kowloon Central ClusterPay:  HK$28,492 to HK$43,526 (HGPS Point 10 to 18) per month including Monthly Allowance

Up to 15% of total basic salary (after deducting the contribution of Mandatory Provident Fund by Hospital Authority) as end-of-contract gratuity may be offered to contract staff upon completion of the contract subject to satisfactory performance.

Key Responsibilities:Report to the Analyst Programmer, the incumbent will be required to:

1.  Provide user support for BTS Blood Bank Data Management Information System.2.  Provide technical support for site-to-site VPN and remote networking.3.  Develop program / scripts to assist policy deployment and remote management.4.  Install, configure and maintain system hardware, software or services.5.  Assist in documentation of user specification, system changes and enhancement.6.  Assist to liaise with users, contractors and other IT teams for program development and system maintenance.7.  Assist to maintain system documentations and reports.8.  Provide user support service to remote donor centres and mobile teams.9.  Provide after-office-hours system support.10.  Manage IT assets inventory and maintenance.11.  Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Entry Requirements:1. Degree in Computer Science or relevant disciplines; or equivalent.

Preferred Attributes:

1.  2 years post qualification working experience in IT or related fields. 2.  Experience in the following areas:a) Network infrastructure setup / configurationb)  End-user support / Call Centre operationc) Desktop deployment and compliance controld)  Server and Desktop Patch managemente) Active Directory account management and Group Policy managementf)  Exchange email server management and supportg)  Mobile VPN network configuration and supporth)  Print Server configuration and supporti)  IT Asset Management3.  Self-initiated, self-motivated and able to work independently.4.  Strong analytical skills with strong technical proficiency.5.  Good communication and interpersonal skills.6.  Network infrastructure knowledge is preferable
