Principal Officer - Sports Development, Discovery Bay Recreation Club

Responsibilities:

• Develop and organize new sports programs and major sports events

• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted promotions and marketing campaigns

• Act as a sports ambassador, representing the club professionally and promoting its activities, events and facilities

• Prepare and present proposals to management, coordinate quotes and contracts to potential clients

• Negotiate terms and pricing to secure event bookings and maximize revenue

• Any ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Diploma or above, graduated in Sports and Leisure Management will be an advantage

• 5 years relevant work experience and 3 years in supervisory level

• Passionate and knowledgeable about a wide variety of sports

• Outgoing, proactive and willing to take up challenges

• Required to work on shift hours including holidays

• Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese

• Good PC skills (Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Chinese Word Processing)
