Partnership Lead (Education)New
We are hiring for one of Hong Kongs most established and trusted educational consultancies, representing over 350 independent schools and universities in the UK.
They are looking for a Partnership Lead. You will drive the creation of a diverse ecosystem of partnerships that extend beyond the education sector. The role is focused on building strategic collaborations with corporates, lifestyle brands, NGOs, service providers, and cultural institutions, enabling Academic Asia to offer enriched experiences and opportunities for its students and families.
This is both a strategic and hands-on role — shaping the partnership roadmap while actively engaging with potential partners, negotiating agreements, and ensuring impactful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that spans education, corporate, lifestyle, and community ecosystems.
- Build and manage a pipeline of potential partners across industries (education, finance, retail, lifestyle, travel, culture, tech, NGOs, etc.).
- Negotiate and structure partnership agreements that create mutual value and enhance student/family experiences.
- Collaborate internally with marketing, operations, and client success teams to activate and deliver partnership initiatives.
- Co-create programs with partners (e.g., joint events, sponsorships, mentorship initiatives, exclusive offers).
- Monitor and evaluate partnership outcomes, ensuring they align with growth and brand objectives.
- Act as an ambassador for Academic Asia in external networks, events, and forums.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or ecosystem-building, ideally spanning both education and commercial industries.
- Proven ability to establish and grow cross-industry collaborations.
- Strong commercial mindset with experience in structuring deals and sponsorships.
- Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute — comfortable working in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
- Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
