Merchandising Executive - Sports / Luxury Footwear

Client Details

Our client is a renowned footwear and organization with a strong reputation. They are now recruiting a Senior Merchandising Executive/ Merchandising Executive who will further grow their team.

Description

• Product Management
• Develop product merchandising strategies aligned with business plans, sales, and margin targets, in collaboration with the Line Manager and MD team.
• Define product focus strategies and concepts.
• Operate systems such as SAP, POS, BI, and PO-related platforms.
• Create and manage product assortment and allocation plans across all sales channels.
• Oversee product launches, supply flow, stock rotation, and returns across regions and countries.
• Prepare and update weekly sales and inventory reports for all channels.
• Lead seasonal and monthly sales forecasting.
• Manage seasonal buying, replenishment, and stock allocation at the start of each season.
• Support product training for both retail and office staff.
• Handle defective product issues and coordinate reporting with headquarters.
• Manage all sample-related logistics and documentation.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments in close collaboration with the logistics team.

• Market Research

• Conduct market research and 3C analysis (Consumer, Company, Competitor) to support merchandising strategies.
• Analyze internal data including sales performance and product assortment to evaluate consumption efficiency.
• Generate and submit weekly/monthly reports to headquarters.

• Internal Trade Show Management

• Present upcoming product lines to retail, e-commerce, and marketing teams.
• Assist in seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) preparation and product presentations for DTC staff.
• Organize product samples and showroom displays.

Profile

• Bachelors degree in Business or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in merchandising within the fashion or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of product assortment planning and inventory management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Passionate about the Onitsuka Tiger brand and its heritage.
• Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic work environment.
• Strong team player with a proactive and self-motivated attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Senior Merchandising Executive role.
