About the Role

Minitab is looking for a driven, high-energy Mid-Market Sales Manager to accelerate new business growth across the Chinese market. This is a true hunter role, focused exclusively on winning new logos within the mid-market segment, particularly across the manufacturing industry.

Based in 香港, you'll work with a high degree of autonomy, owning your territory end-to-end — from prospecting and discovery through to close. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on opening doors, building pipelines from scratch, and closing complex, consultative sales in a competitive environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Own and execute a new business sales strategy for the mid-market segment across the Chinese market
  • Identify, qualify, and close net-new customer opportunities
  • Proactively prospect and engage senior stakeholders within manufacturing organisations, understanding their business challenges and 職位ing Minitab as a strategic solution
  • Lead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution 職位ing, product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of new logo opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and CRM hygiene
  • Work closely with internal pre-sales, marketing, and services teams in a virtual team-selling environment
  • Gather and share competitive and market intelligence to continuously sharpen 職位ing within the territory
  • Represent Minitab at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements across the region
What We\'re Looking For
  • Proven hunter mentality — proactive, self-starting, and motivated by winning new business
  • Strong experience selling B2B software or technology solutions into the manufacturing industry
  • Ability to work independently, manage your own territory, and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with frequent travel (up to 60%) across the region
  • Confident engaging with executive, technical, and business stakeholders
  • Consultative selling approach with strong negotiation and closing skills
Language Requirements
  • Fluent Mandarin (native or business-native level)
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience & Background
  • 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience, ideally in technology, analytics, or enterprise software.
  • Track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets (100%+ of quota)
  • Experience managing mid-market accounts and closing deals.
  • Exposure to business intelligence, analytics, or statistical software is a plus
