Job Description

• To carry out maintenance tasks, involving calibration, fault finding and routine maintenance of electrical, control & instrumentation equipment and interventions on SCADA, PLCs and other process software
• Provide the control system hardware and software programming, troubleshooting and modification
• Carry out troubleshooting, calibration, emergency maintenance on plant instrument, device and equipment including Pressure, Temperature, Flow and Level Transducers as well as transmitter, Automated control system, Emissions Monitoring Equipment, PLC/DCS, etc
• Maintain records of all C&I equipment, system maintenance and calibration data
• Report, diagnose and remedy plant defects, proposing improvements where appropriate
• Propose and develop modifications to plant/apparatus as appropriate
• Liaise with operations staff and other maintenance staff as appropriate
• Maintain the workshop and other work areas in a clean, tidy and safe condition.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years relative work experience in power plant, process plant, heavy industry area or equivalent
• Experienced technician in serving a recognized apprenticeship and knowledgeable in control, instrumentation and electrical engineering or equivalent

Requirements:

• Knowledge of all aspects of maintenance techniques associated with control systems, pneumatic and hydraulic transducers and instrument
• Hard-working, willing to learn, able to work under pressure and a harsh environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate in English. Cantonese and/or Putonghua would be a plus.
