IT Technician

Our client is a leading technology solutions provider based in Hong Kong, serving a diverse range of clients across the Asia-Pacific region. We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join their dynamic team.

Description

As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintaining the IT infrastructure for our clients in Hong Kong. Your key duties will include:

• Troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users.
• Performing routine maintenance and upgrades on PCs, servers, network equipment, and other IT assets.
• Configuring and deploying new equipment and software as per company standards.
• Providing guidance and training to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications.
• Monitoring system performance and identifying potential areas for improvement.
• Documenting and maintaining detailed records of all support activities.
• Collaborating with the IT team to implement new technologies and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an IT Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows and macOS operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with office productivity software, email, and collaboration tools.
• Familiarity with network protocols, hardware, and basic security best practices.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in English and Cantonese/Mandarin.
