IT Procurement Manager

Responsibilities

l  Develop Procurement Strategies: Create and implement strategies for the procurement of IT hardware, software, and services that align with the organizations goals and business projects objective.

l  Manage IT Procurement and Contract: Support a wide range of IT services and products, adhering to the companys procurement policies and procedures. Implement IT procurement and contract management processes to guarantee a fair and efficient procurement cycle.

l  Manage Procure-to-Pay Process: Oversee vendor sourcing and selection, continuously evaluate and improve the Procure-to-Pay processes to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

l  Vendor Management: Establish and maintain relationships with key vendors, negotiate favorable terms and conditions, and monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contracts and service level agreements.

l  Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as IT, finance, and legal to ensure alignment and support for procurement activities.

l  Documentation and Compliance: Responsible for all documentation related to purchasing activities, including supplier performance assessments, contract management, RFQ/RFP, and tendering.

l  Vendor Evaluation: Conduct regular evaluations of current and potential vendors to ensure they meet the organizations standards and requirements.

l  Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, costs, and performance metrics to senior management.

Requirements

l  Educational Background: Bachelors degree in information technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

l  Procurement Expertise: In-depth knowledge of end-to-end procurement, contract management, and vendor management.

l  Communication Skills: strong negotiation skills and the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions.

l  Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in procurement and contract management, preferably in the financial industry.
