Caritas – 香港, a Catholic social service organization established since 1953, comprises social work, education, medical and hospitality services.

We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking candidate to fill the vacancy below.

Head of Information Technology

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the job holder is expected to lead the Agency’s overall IT strategies, operations and infrastructure, ensuring technology services effectively support the operation of the Agency. He/She will drive digital innovation, operational resilience and long‑term technology planning in alignment with the strategic VMV of the Agency.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance: Provide strategic leadership, direction and governance on all IT matters across the Agency.
Operational Excellence: Oversee the planning, operation and continuous enhancement of IT infrastructure, network, systems, applications, cybersecurity and user support services.
Project & Systems Delivery: Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT projects, from infrastructure upgrades to cloud adoption, ensuring delivery is on time, within budget, and meets stakeholder requirements.
Cybersecurity & Risk Management: Ensure robust information security, data protection, compliance, risk management and disaster recovery arrangements across all technology platforms; direct multiple outsourced service providers; define SLAs, monitor performance, and act as the primary escalation point to ensure service quality and cost‑effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technical teams and senior management, translating complex IT matters into clear, actionable business insights.

Requirements

A recognized university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline, preferably with a higher degree.
Minimum 15 years post‑qualification experience in IT leadership, infrastructure, network and systems management, cybersecurity, digital transformation, enterprise applications, software management and user support, with at least 10 years in a senior managerial role; exposure in an NGO or public organization is highly preferred.
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, stakeholder management and project management capabilities, with the ability to translate organisational needs into practical technology solutions.
Strong knowledge of information security, risk management, governance and vendor management.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills, with a professional, proactive and solution‑oriented approach.
High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week

工作地點: Caine Road, Central

Monthly Salary: Commensurate with working experience
