If you are passionate about arts and culture and looking for an internship experience, join the West Kowloon Graduate Internship Programme to learn about and explore one of the most important cultural projects in Hong Kong.

An unique opportunity for graduates interested in developing a career in the arts and culture industry. Interns will work closely with professional staff in the authority. The internship period runs until 31 March 2026.

You will be responsible for:

  • implementing a wide spectrum of marketing and communications initiatives under supervision so as to build, enhance and protect the brand reputation of the West Kowloon Cultural District and the Authority;

  • assisting in organising corporate events, media events and other marketing and publicity initiatives;

  • building and maintaining good rapport with media/KOLs from Hong Kong, PRC and overseas; supporting in organising press conferences and familiarisation visits; handling interviews and shooting; conducting media monitoring report and coverage analysis; maintaining media and stakeholders database;

  • preparing communications collaterals for managements review, including press releases, social media content and design production, fact sheets, presentation materials, and other writing assignments if required;

  • working with external agencies, outsourced vendors and business partners on marketing, public relations and communications initiatives as necessary; participating in planning, idea generation and execution of Hong Kong Palace Museum PR and marketing campaigns to promote exhibitions, public programmes and business initiatives;

  • involving in day-to-day liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders;

  • preparing reports and documents for assigned projects; and

  • performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.

 You should:

  • be permanent residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region at the time of appointment unless specified otherwise;

  • possess a recognised university degree in marketing, creative media, journalism, communications, public affairs, politics/international relations or related disciplines;

  • possess relevant working experience is preferred; fresh graduate is welcomed;

  • be able to execute projects independently with guidance to achieve the communications goals;

  • possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a good team player with creativity and dynamism and able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines;

  • be passionate about arts and culture; and

  • have excellent spoken and written English and Chinese; be proficient in Putonghua.
