Overview

A very well-established Asset Management is looking for a Finance Transformation Lead to implement and facilitate Microsoft Dynamics implementation.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Alignment & Accounting Integrity:Translate the firm\'s strategic objectives into a clear finance transformation roadmap and ERP requirements. Ensure the system design enforces accounting policy compliance, maintains a robust audit trail, and supports accurate financial statement preparation under relevant GAAP/IFRS.
• Accounting Process Re-engineering:Lead the redesign of core accounting processes with emphasis on fund accounting specifics: investment income recognition, fair value adjustments, fee calculations (management & performance), capital call/distribution accounting, and complex inter-entity eliminations. Design controls for the month-end close within D365.
• ERP Solution Leadership & Chart of Accounts Design:Serve as the ultimate finance authority on the D365 project. Own the design and implementation of the master data framework, including the Chart of Accounts, financial dimensions, and accounting hierarchies that meet both management and regulatory reporting needs.
• Technical Accounting Integration:Work with investment and product teams to ensure D365 properly supports the accounting treatment for diverse investment vehicles (e.g., funds, SPVs, co-investments) and financial instruments. Validate system logic for automated journal entries.
• Programme Governance & PMO Rigor:Establish and run robust PMO disciplines for the finance workstream: detailed planning, scope & change control, risk/issue management, status reporting, and budget tracking. Prepare materials for Steering Committee reviews.
• Stakeholder & Change Leadership:Champion the change. Manage expectations, communicate progress, and mitigate resistance. Develop training strategies and ensure the finance team is prepared for new processes and technologies.
• Testing & Financial Assurance:Oversee all finance testing phases. Design UAT scenarios that validate accounting accuracy, reporting outputs, and compliance with internal controls before go-live. Lead reconciliation efforts between legacy and new systems during parallel runs.

Your Profile

• with 10+ years of post-qualification experience, including significant time within the finance/accounting department
• Proven Finance Transformation & ERP Leadership:Demonstrable experience leading the finance workstream of a major, global ERP implementation (Microsoft Dynamics is strongly preferred).
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Prowess:Ability to deconstruct complex accounting and operational problems and design elegant, scalable solutions.
