Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees the accounting and control functions of the group, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger. Ensure timely and accurate closing

• Ensure proper internal controls

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and various management reports

• Perform financial planning and analysis function including identifying trends, and providing insights to support strategic decision-making

• Collaborate with business leaders to understand their financial needs and provide relevant data and analysis

• Develop and monitor the company Finance Budget, forecasting cash flow, and identifying areas for cost savings

• Manage statutory reporting, tax planning & filing, ensuring all necessary filings and payments are made accurately and on time

• Manage treasury function 

• Co-ordinate with external auditors on annual audit

• Lead and implement process improvement and system implementation 

• Handle ad hoc duties as required 

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA or ACCA certification preferred

• Audit working experience is preferred, but not essential

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a finance or accounting management role in Hong Kong

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels

• Proficient in financial software, spreadsheet applications, and data analysis tools commonly used

• Thorough knowledge of Hong Kong financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements

• Ability to set priorities, manage deadlines and work under pressure

• Business conscious, willing to accept challenges and changes as well as detail-minded

• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Finance Manager
