Job summary:
The consultant will provide assurance to client's Board, Audit Committee and executive management on the adequacy and effectiveness of internal control.
Key Responsibilities:
Audit Execution & Management:
-Plan, lead, manage, and conduct IT and/or operational audits, reviews, and special projects following departmental and professional standards.
-Complete assignments efficiently while maintaining quality.
-Participate in annual audit planning, including conducting audit assessments on IT applications and infrastructure controls.
-Monitor progress and achievement of the internal audit plan.
Stakeholder Management:
-Manage relationships with business units to understand business strategies, products, processes, performance, and risk-related issues.
-Articulate and highlight audit findings/recommendations to management in both technical and non-technical terms.
-Write and review audit reports.
Team Leadership & Development:
-Supervise and coach Group Internal Audit team members.
-Drive knowledge sharing and training initiatives.
-Lead departmental initiatives to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
Follow-up & Special Projects:
-Monitor implementation status of audit recommendations.
-Lead and perform ad-hoc assignments as required.
Requirements
Experience:
-Minimum 8 years of IT audit experience from accounting/consulting firms or sizable organizations (or a combination)
-Demonstrated experience in managing a team
Education & Certification:
-Bachelor's/Master's degree in a relevant discipline
-Recognized professional qualification (CA, CPA, CIA, or CISA)
