Assistant Manager – Macroeconomic Research

Join to apply for the Assistant Manager – Macroeconomic Research role at Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (Asia) Limited (ICBC (Asia)). ICBC (Asia) is the flagship of overseas business of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited, the largest commercial bank in China and a D‑SIB in 香港. The bank operates 52 retail outlets (including 27 “Elite Club” Wealth Management Centres) in 香港 and offers commercial banking, investment banking, securities, insurance and fund services, with a focus on commercial and retail banking and global market business.

Job Responsibilities

• Analyze the present situation, problems and challenges in the bank’s transformation and development.
• Assist in writing banking strategy reports based on peer comparison and market research reports.
• Conduct comprehensive research on domestic and international macroeconomic and financial conditions.
• Study trends in the financial market and produce special research analysis reports.
• Perform other ad‑hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in finance, economics, business management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent and able to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, especially Mandarin.
