Business Analyst - AI Projects (Fresh Graduates are also Welcome)

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Business Analyst - AI Projects to join our innovative eCommerce team. This role will leverage data to drive transformative business decisions through AI solutions. Applicants will require Python skills to play a key role in developing and supporting AI-driven projects to optimise processes and enhance business outcomes. Fresh graduated are invited to apply.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-Driven Solutions: Design and implement AI and machine learning solutions, with a focus on Python-based development, to automate operational processes, data collection and enable instant decision-making across eCommerce operations

• Enhance Data Structures: Optimise data structures, develop and maintain data mappings, and create comprehensive data glossaries to ensure consistency, accessibility, and scalability

• Drive Advanced Analytics: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into predictive and prescriptive analytics, delivering real-time, actionable insights for strategic decision-making

• Develop Data Scraping Tools: Build and maintain Python-based web scraping tools to extract critical data from eCommerce platforms (e.g., Amazon), ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on product availability, pricing, and purchase-ability

• Champion AI Adoption: Drive the adoption of AI tools, including large language models, generative AI, and automated machine learning platforms, to enhance data collection, streamline reporting, and transform raw data into actionable business intelligence

• Stay Ahead of AI Trends: Proactively research and experiment with the latest advancements in AI, data analytics, and eCommerce technologies to innovate workflows and enhance operational capabilities

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Business or a related field.

• Experience:

  • 1-2 years of professional experience in AI project development, data analytics, or related fields (fresh graduates with strong Python skills and relevant coursework/projects will be considered)

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure AI and data platforms (e.g., Azure Machine Learning, Azure Databricks)

  • Proficiency in SQL for database management and querying

  • Experience developing Python-based web scraping tools for eCommerce platforms

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Python programming skills, with expertise in data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy or scikit-learn

  • Familiarity with AI model development and deployment, including large language models and generative AI

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret complex datasets and derive actionable insights

• Communication & Collaboration:

  • Ability to translate complex AI-driven insights into clear, business-friendly terms for stakeholders

  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
