THE COMPANY :

• North American toy trading company delivering joy across continents, with vendor factories in China and clients throughout the Americas.
• We're now looking for a skilled Assistant Merchandising Manager to take charge of our product journey—managing vibrant teams, driving product innovation, and shaping the toys of tomorrow.

• You will lead one Merchandising team for product development, order management, vendor management and project management :
• Lead toy development: sourcing, packaging, printing, purchase order and vendor management
• Ensure compliance with global toy safety standards (EN71, ASTM)
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Design, Shipping, QA/QC teams
• Drive negotiations (terms, cost, timelines) with vendors and partners
• Manage scheduling, costing, materials sourcing, and data management
• Work with Project Engineers for project management
• Shape supply chain strategy and sourcing guidelines to align with business needs
• Evaluate risks and develop contingency plans
• Build strategic partnerships with external manufacturers

• Tertiary educated
• 6+ years in OEM toy development
• 4+ years in a managerial role within a buying office or trading environment
• Experience working under ERP environment is preferable
• Proficient in Excel and pivot tables
• Confident communicator and leader with a positive, proactive mindset
• Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin
