Assistant Professor / Lecturer in Sports Management

Experiencing phenomenal growth, Wenzhou Business College is a top ranked private university approved by the Ministry of Education in China. With over 20,000 students and 1,000 faculty members, the College invites applications for 10-year full-time tenure track positions at all ranks in Sports Management to begin in Spring 2026 (Fall 2025 possible for those currently in China). Applicants should possess a master or higher degree in a related discipline for the Lecturer level; and for other levels a PhD degree in a related discipline, or ABD in anticipation of graduation by summer 2025.

Ideally candidates should have a track record in sports management or competitive/recreational sports. The academic rank and the competitive compensation and benefits package - including free housing, health insurance, schooling, 10% retirement contribution, home leave allowance and more - will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. High research candidates with established publication record may be considered for a special research track, generous research funding, up to RMB 900,000 (about USD $140K) in tax-FREE salary (pending nationality), and additional allowance besides standard benefit package, e.g. extra RMB one million in housing subsidy. To receive full consideration, candidates need to submit a cover letter, CV, and research statement by email to: ***@wzbc.edu.cn

A city of nearly 10 million people with rich culture and culinary offerings, Wenzhou is only one hour by plane and just over three hours by high-speed train from Shanghai and Hong Kong.
