Key Responsibilities:
Assist in preparing monthly management reports under HKGAAP for both company level and parent group reporting
Support month-end closing processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
Structuring large datasets to extract actionable insights
Assist in preparation of various analysis of financial and operational data by using power BI and develop dynamic dashboards (e.g. graphs, infographics) and other methods
Assist in interim and year-end audit, including preparation of disclosures and liaising with external auditors/regulators, etc.
Provide ad-hoc accounting support from time to time including perform accounting system enhancement UATs/ upgrade etc.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Qualified HKICPA /Finalist candidate of HKICPA
Minimum 5 years of experience in financial and management reporting, preferable related to Insurance industry
Experience in financial data analysis and knowledgeable in IFRS 17 is an added advantage
Advanced proficiency in SAP accounting system, Power BI and Microsoft Excel
