Assistant Accountant

We are partnering with a reputable international professional services firm to recruit an Assistant Accountant for its 香港 finance team. The role oversees AP, AR processing, month‑end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accuracy. You will coordinate across offices, address finance enquiries, support external audits, and uphold internal controls and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead AP/AR processing, including timely posting of receipts and vendor payments.
• Drive month‑end close activities and prepare reconciliations (bank, prepayments, inter公司名稱).
• Maintain accurate general ledger, payment, and receipt records with complete documentation.
• Respond to internal/external queries and provide clear, timely resolutions.
• Prepare audit schedules and liaise with auditors to address queries.
• Collaborate with regional finance teams and support regulatory/compliance processes.
• Handle time & expense entries, disbursements, and ad hoc finance projects.

Requirements:

• Degree holder with 2+ years' accounting experience, ideally in professional services.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP) and Word; exposure to Elite 3E/Elite Enterprise is advantageous.
• Strong written and verbal communication in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
• Self‑starter who follows through with minimal supervision and strong ownership.
• Team player with high accuracy, attention to detail, and deadline discipline.
• Flexible mindset and ability to adapt to changing priorities/varied hours.
• Comfortable handling high‑volume transactional data swiftly and accurately.
