Financial Advisory (FA) practice of Deloitte China provides strategic and financial advisory services to clients throughout all phases of the economic cycle. FA comprises several distinct but related global service lines whose shared principal objective is the creation and enhancement of shareholder and stakeholder value.

Deloitte Forensic Services assist organizations in managing forensic issues and focus on outcomes that address reputation protection, asset recovery and prevention.

Work you'll do

  • Become part of a leading global Forensic and Dispute business which provides a wide range of proactive and reactive solutions for our clients' financial crisis management and response.
  • Work with an agile team with extensive experience in assisting clients to deal with increasingly complex regulatory requirements and business environments and the challenges which may arise in connection with fraud, financial crime and disputes.
  • Identify, measure, and mitigate the impact of frauds and other business threats, using Deloitte's advanced research and analytic capabilities;
  • Apply statistical, econometric, and financial expertise to translate structured and unstructured data into useful information;
  • Investigate and compile case information to critique the adversary's position and help build the client's position;
  • Anticipate emerging threats through the use of market-leading technology to uncover possibilities that others may fail to find;
  • Apply finance knowledge to effectively diagnose a crisis situation and/or help stabilize a client's business;
  • Manage own work in an ethical manner with a continuous attention to quality and risk rules, and confidentiality.

We are looking for someone with

  • Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management, Law or related disciplines;
  • Preferably with certification of HKICPA, ACCA, CICPA, CFE or relevant qualification, but not a must;
  • Three to five years' experience in forensic/law field, or related work of an investigative nature or internal audit with exposure to fraud enquires;
  • Ability to assess the results of analysis and other investigative procedures to identify the potential impact, using Deloitte Forensic methodologies;
  • Strong report writing skills;
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills with high commitment to quality client service;
  • Fast learner, strong multitasking and organizational skills, with flexibility and adaptability to work in different service lines and on different industries;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin), including both technical and business writing, good documentation and presentation skills;
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment; and deadline and result-driven;
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
