Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and motivated AI Application Developer to join our growing team. This role is focused on the creative and practical application of AI, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs). You will be the architect behind our AI-driven features, designing and integrating intelligent systems into our products. This is not a research role for training foundational models; instead, you will leverage existing state-of-the-art platforms and technologies to build what's next.

Key elements of the job:

Conduct ongoing research into the latest AI technologies, tools, and integration patterns to keep our solutions on the cutting edge.

Master the art of prompt engineering to elicit the best possible performance from various LLMs.

Design, build, and continuously improve our Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines to ensure our AI has access to accurate, relevant information.

Architect and develop production grade AI agent systems, defining their workflows, tools, and decision-making processes.

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate AI functionalities into new and existing products.

The ideal candidate:

• Proficiency in Python: Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable Python code is essential.
• AI Application Experience: Proven track record of developing applications and solutions that leverage AI, particularly LLMs.
• Major AI Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience using APIs from at least one major platform (e.g., OpenAI, Google Gemini, Anthropic, Grok).
• AI System Design Skills: Ability to design AI workflows, such as multi-step agent systems or LLM-integrated product functions.
• Experience with Local LLMs: Verifiable experience in setting up and running large language models in a local environment.
• AI-Assisted Workflow: You must be adept at using AI to enhance your own work, with experience using LLM coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and knowledge management tools (e.g., NotebookLM, Notion AI).

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

• Data Analytics Skills: Experience with data analysis, manipulation, and visualization is highly appreciated.
• Polyglot Programmer: Familiarity with other programming languages beyond Python.
• Model Fine-Tuning: While not a core focus, an interest in and exploration of fine-tuning models is a welcome bonus.
• Linux Proficiency: Comfortable working in a Linux environment.
