About The Role

Support Corporate Solutions business by performing group underwriting and providing actuarial insights, with the goal of achieving business targets in ANP, VONB, and OPAT

Roles And Responsibilities

• Group pricing: Assess and underwrite group life, medical, and personal accident cases by analyzing benefits, claims experience, terms & conditions, and reinsurance arrangements. Ensure pricing reflects projected claims, medical trends, expenses, and profit margins while remaining competitive.
• Review quotations and terms to ensure compliance with internal guidelines and legal standards.
• Propose benefit adjustments and cost-containment strategies by analyzing scheme design, claims patterns, medical trends, and industry benchmarks.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify gaps in employee benefits and develop tailored solutions for corporate clients.
• Work with Operations, IT, and Network teams to design benefit solutions that are customer-centric and operationally feasible.
• Prepare claims data analysis, premium projections, and recommendations for cases requiring higher-level approval.

Projects & Reports

• Contribute to projects focused on actuarial solutions, service enhancements, process improvements, or strategic initiatives.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc underwriting reports as needed.

Reinsurance arrangement

• Coordinate with reinsurers for facultative reinsurance on special quotes.

Other Responsibilities

• Provide industry insights and best practices to team members.
• Fulfill other tasks to meet evolving business demands.

Requirements

• University graduate with over 5 years of relevant experience.
• Actuarial education or experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to details.
• Team-oriented mindset.
• Must obtain relevant licenses if involved in regulated activities.
