Job Description

• Oversee and manage the transaction monitoring system to detect suspicious activities and ensure compliance with 香港 Monetary Authority (HKMA) regulations
• Conduct in-depth analysis of flagged transactions, investigate potential money laundering or terrorist financing risks, and escalation cases as needed
• Lead investigation of fraud cases, including mule account networks, account takeover, identity theft, and synthetic identity fraud; prepare investigation reports and recommend account restrictions or recovery actions
• Manage and optimise fraud detection mechanism; drive continuous improvement through data analytics and typology reviews.
• Drive the development and enhancement offraud prevention and detectionstrategies, controls and early warning mechanisms in alignment with HKMA’s Guideline on Prevention of Money Laundering & Terrorist Financing and the latest anti-fraud expectations
• Collaborate closely with business units, operations, digital banking, fraud operations and customer contact centre to implement effectiveanti-fraud measures, customer education and scam response protocols
• Keep abreast of the latest money laundering, terrorist financing andfraudtrends, typologies, sanctions developments, virtual asset risks and regulatory updates

Requirements

• Degree or above preferably in Business Management or other related discipline
• 3-5 years’ or above experience in AML/CFT compliance knowledge
• Relevant qualification in Associate AML Professional (AAMLP)/ Certified AML Professional (CAMLP) is an advantage
• HKIB banking professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) preferred
• Well-verse in AML related legislation and guidelines
• Result-oriented with excellent leadership, communication and organizing skill
• Well organized with the ability to work independently
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
