VP of Compliance Advisory - ALL-STAR AGENCY

Overview

A foreign commercial bank is currently seeking a VP, Compliance Advisory for the compliance department to provide business and regulatory advisory for commercial banking business.

Role Responsibilities

• Reporting into the Head of Compliance, the VP Compliance Manager will take on a compliance advisory role to internal business stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements for Commercial Banking business
• Assist Department Head in preparing management reporting in identifying and management key compliance risks and trends of the banks business
• Keep abreast of new regulatory developments related to the bank and update to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
• Collaborate with Commercial Banking Business to develop and update policies and procedures in response to developments in applicable statutory and regulatory requirements
• Deliver compliance training and provide support to the team in ad-hoc projects and liaison with regulators I Audit.

Requirements

• 10 years of experiences in regulatory compliance from commercial or corporate banking
• Strong communication in English and Cantonese, and ability to work smoothly with various business stakeholders
• Bachelor Degree holder in finance, economics or law is preferred
• Independent worker with high attention to detail
